TORTUGUERO NATIONAL PARK MINI TOUR |

Tortuguero National Park is located on the
Atlantic Coast, and as its name suggests, is the most important site of
all Caribbean coast, where water turtle lay their eggs. You can reach
the park only by boat and it is surrounded by many navigable canals
where you can find caymans, tapirs, sloths, jaguars and the manatee.This
is one of the few Costa Rican national parks where walking isn't
necessarily the best way to see things. The marked trail along the beach
is used mostly for observing turtle nesting, but the best way to see
most of the park is from a boat.
