RESERVATIONS

All reservations should be made in writing by e-mail at [email protected], or filling the form on our website www.wildcoastcr.com.

Wild Coast will promptly answer every request within 36 hours of receipt of request. 


PAYMENT POLICY

During green and high season, a deposit of 50% of the total trip cost is required to guarantee your reservation upon acceptance of proposal. The balance is due 40 days prior to the beginning date of tour. In the event of a reservation received 40 or fewer days prior the arrival dates, full payment should be sent as soon as we confirm your request.

During holiday season the deposit of 50% of the total is non-refundable. The balance is due 60 days prior to the beginning date of tour. In the event of a reservation received 60 or fewer days prior the arrival dates, full payment should be sent as soon as we confirm your request.

Certain hotels, lodges and packages may require additional deposits to guarantee space, especially during holiday season; therefore the company will notify customers if necessary.

When calculating the amount to be paid, please add your local bank transfer fee.

We kindly request that the client notify us when payment is sent informing us by e-mail; as this is the only way we can confirm it. Upon receipt of payment by transfer, we will provide you with a receipt and confirmation of all services listed in the itinerary.

Wild Coast Costa Rica S.A. will be happy to help with any last minute changes. However, please note that any costs or penalties imposed by the companies affected by the newly requested or cancelled services will be charged to the costumer.


CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be sent in written by email at [email protected] and will be valid only within writing confirmation from Wild Coast Costa Rica S.A.

However, the company needs to plan for tours and packages as well for during a long period prior the arrival and must deposit partially non-refundable payments to hotels and other suppliers.

During green and high season:
  • check In the case of cancellations 30 days or more prior to the start date of the trip, there is a full refund minus hotel deposits, in addition to 20% of the entire cost of the trip. 
  • check From 29 to 16 days prior the start date of the trip, there is a 50% refund, minus hotel deposits.
  • check From 15 to 9 days before date of arrival, 75% of the total amount will be penalized.
  • check There will be no refund for cancellations made 8 days or fewer prior to the trip, including the day of arrival
Certain hotels have more strict cancellation and refund policies, for what this might change our refund policies.

During holiday season:
  • check In the case of cancellations 50 days or more prior to the start date of the trip, there is a 50% refund.
  • check From 49 to 30 there is a 50% refund minus hotel deposits. 
  • check From 29 to 16 days before date of arrival, 75% of the total amount will be penalized.
  • check There will be no refund for cancellations made 15 days or fewer prior to the trip, including the day of arrival
Certain hotels have very  strict cancellation and refund policies, because of this we may have to change our refund policies.

In the case of vacations booking, Wild Coast S.A. will inform you about specific cancelation policy, according to the requested hotel.


CONDITIONS

Wild Coast Costa Rica S.A. makes arrangements with car rental companies, hotels, excursions providers and ground transportation companies to provide you with travel services and the services they supply are subject to their terms and conditions, tariffs, conditions of carriage, international conventions and agreements or customs of their business. Once travel has commenced, Wild Coast cannot assume responsibility for any cost arising out of injury accident or death, loss of or damage to or delay in connection with baggage or other property, inconvenience, or loss of holiday time resulting from the act or fault or omission by any party other than Wild Coast or its employees.

The Company accepts no responsibility for and shall not be liable in respect of loss or damage or changes caused by  events such as mechanical breakdown, conditions of roads and trails, river levels, transportation delays, accidents, strikes, riots, political unrest, fire, earthquakes, flood, weather problems or similar events beyond its control.

Some of the activities included in the itinerary may be inappropriate for those with health problems or physical disabilities according to the activity. It is the passenger’s responsibility to judge the appropriateness of these travel activities according to his/her physical capabilities and release Wild coast Costa Rica S.A. of any responsibility; customers are entirely responsible to make sure their health is good enough to make the trip to Costa Rica.


DOCUMENTATION

It is the personal responsibility of all travelers to have in their possession the correct documentation required for their journey. Wild Coast Costa Rica S.A. cannot be held responsible in the event that a traveler is considered to be an undesirable visitor, whether or not the traveler’s documents are in order, and in such an event, any cost associated with an early return or detainment will be at the traveler’s expense.

Wild Coast Costa Rica S.A. recommends its customers to be covered by appropriated life, accident and medical insurance. We also advise that passengers insure their personal property against loss and theft.


PERSONAL DATA

Personal data collected from our customers is handled strictly within the scope of our duties as a travel services provider. Wild Coast Costa Rica S.A., in order to provide the travel services requested, supplies personal data to its authorized third party suppliers; the data provided is limited to essential information such as transport, excursion and accommodation booking details.
